Building a New Home or Office/Factory, Renovations and Extensions

When planning to build or renovate, the telephone is often left as an afterthought. It really needs to be co-ordinated with gas, water and electricity lines, so that they can all go into the same trench, which will save you the expense of having another trench dug later.

Nowadays, most new homes, offices or factories, should be pre-wired with at least two sockets to plug their phones into but most families/businesses need more than that.

The planning stage when building or renovating is the time to play pretend and imagine different scenarios. For example, do you need one line with extra sockets, or do you need two or more lines?

Kurmond Communications can pre-wire all the communications cabling when the framework goes up and then return to "fit-off" all sockets when the gyprock is complete.

ATTENTION!
In Australia it is illegal for unlicensed people to carry out any cabling.
Fines for violation are up to $13,000.
